Crash barrier vandals Abdulrahim, Lawan nabbed in Lagos

According to RSS, the crash barriers were vandalized from the sides of overhead bridge around Lagos State Trade Fair.
Two suspected vandals, Abdullateef Abdulrahim, (22) and Aliyu Lawan (16) have been arrested in Badagry Expressway with a pile of already cut crash barriers by officers of Lagos Police Command Rapid Response Squad (RRS)
Abdulrahim and Aliyu were arrested around 3:00 a.m. at Abule Oshun area of the expressway with a pile of already cut crash barriers, RRS said in a post on its Facebook page.
Abdulrahim, who was arrested with a hacksaw couldn’t explain what he was using it to do at around 3:00 a.m.
According to RSS, the crash barriers were vandalized from the sides of overhead bridge around Lagos State Trade Fair.
Their arrest followed deployment of a squad of Rapid Response to the area in response to an intelligence on crime
Recovered from the suspects were; a hacksaw and pile of cut crash barriers.
Speaking on the development, the Commissioner of Police, CP Abiodun Alabi, has directed the transfer of the suspects to the State CID, Panti for further investigations and prosecution.
