Barcelona, Manchester City and Liverpool have been handed tough draw in the 2022/2023 Champions League draw in Istanbul, Turkey on Thursday.

Interestingly, Robert Lewandowski, former Bayern’s goal-scoring machine has moved to Barcelona, setting up a potential cracker between the two sides.
Last season, Barcelona and Bayern were drawn in the same group. Bayern demolished Barca 3-0 at home and 0-3 away from home. Inter Milan is another strong contender in the group. The three strong teams in the group had been Champions League winners.
In Group G, last season’s semi-finalist, Manchester City will face Sevilla, Borussia Dortmund and Copenhagen. It is also a tough draw for the City, but they are sure to progress from the group.
Last season’s runner-up, Liverpool will face Dutch champions, Ajax and Italian side, Napoli and Rangers in Group A. This also another tough draw as the first three teams are capable of qualifying from the group.
Defending champions, Real Madrid have been handed an easy draw in Group F. They will face German side, Leipzig, Shakhtar Donestsk and Celtic.
Another English side, Chelsea will play Italian champions, AC Milan, Salzburg and Dinamo Zagreb in Group E, while Tottenham will play Eintracht Frankfurt, Sporting Lisbon and Marseille in Group D.
