Olympic Qualifier: Eguavoen Gags U-23 Eagles

Coach Austin Eguavoen has warned the U-23 Eagles not to grant any interview as the team get set for the London 2012 Olympic Games qualifier against Tanzania.

It was gathered that the technical crew barred the team from speaking to the press, to ensure they do not lose concentration ahead of the must win return leg match.

The team, camped at the Prestige Hotel in Benin, go into today’s clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium, Benin, Edo State, with a goal deficit.

The Nigerian team must beat the visitor with at least two unreplied goals if they want to play in next year’s Olympics.

Holland-based striker, Ahmed Musa tops the list of players that will confront Tanzania in the clash.
