Matawalle assents to bill on Nursing Science College

Governor Bello Matawalle has assented to the bill establishing Zamfara College of Nursing Science, Gusau.

He gave his assent to the bill and other matters connected therewith on Friday, in Gusau.

While signing the bill, Matawalle noted that the Zamfara State School of Nursing and Midwifery Gusau would now be referred to as “Zamfara State College of Nursing Science Gusau.”

The governor explained that the law provided for the upgrading of the State School of Nursing and Midwifery, Gusau to a full-fledged College of Nursing Science.

According to him, the institution would now enhance the standard of health-related studies in the state.

Meanwhile, he assured that his administration would provide all the needed educational facilities and logistics for the college.

That, he stated, would provide an atmosphere conducive for learning for indigent students.
