Lucky Babes Promise Adeshina Tough Game

Lucky Babes Football Club of Yaba have declared war on Adeshina Babes Football Club of Agbado Ijaiye on Sunday at the ongoing MAF Unity Cup.

The crucial encounter, which promises to be explosive, will hold at the Oshodi Sports Centre.

Both teams need to fight like wounded lions to secure a place in the next stage as the tourney is on a knockout basis.

Speaking on the Sunday’s game, Lucky Babes coach, Saheed Adeyinka, said it will be a good match for both teams. he, however, boasted that his players are in high spirit to go for victory.

“We are going for victory because we know that anything short of that, we are out of the competition. We want to take all our matches with all seriousness. So there is need for us to field good players for the opening match,” he said.

Adeyinka expressed happyiness that the players are in good frame of mind to take their opponents to the cleaners ,but urged his players not to be complacent during the clash.

“There is no room for mistake because we are playing a knockout tournament. My players know the task ahead and they are ready to die on the pitch come Sunday,” he said.

Match Coordinator, Shina Olumuyiwa, urged football fans to shun social vices that can bring the tourney into disrepute. He disclosed that all the teams will be treated equally throughout the competition.

Actions continues today when Stallion FC face Haske FC, Santos FC play against divine FC ,while Ultimate will battle Super Force FC in he last match of the day.
