Police release image of a man who sexually assaulted woman in London train

The British Transport Police have released an image of a man who sexually assaulted a woman while she was asleep on a Piccadilly line train in London.

The assault occurred at 6 pm on September 6 as the woman was asleep between Park Royal and Sudbury Hill.

She suddenly woke up to find a man sexually assaulting her.

According to reports by a local online news medium, she challenged him and he left the train at Sudbury hill.

The medium quoted a police statement saying: “Do you recognise this man? Officers investigating a sexual assault on board a Piccadilly line service between Park Royal and Sudbury Hill are today releasing images in connection.

“Officers believe the man in the images may have information which could help their investigation. If you recognise him, or have any information, please contact BTP by texting 61016 or calling 0800 40 50 40 quoting reference 501 of 06/09/22. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
