Harmattan: Residents warned on fire outbreaks

The Kaduna State Emergency Management Agency (KADSEMA) has warned Kaduna residents to be mindful of the dry harmattan season to avoid fire outbreaks.
Muhammad Mukaddas, Executive Secretary of the Agency, made this known in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Kaduna.
He said that the harmattan season usually comes along with peculiar characteristics of fire outbreaks that if not properly handled would lead to disasters.
According to him, residents of the state need to be sensitive to the use of flammable materials and electrical appliances.
