Abati, Others Take Oath
The chairman of the Editorial Board of The Guardian Newspaper, Dr. Reuben Abati and 17 other aides of President Goodluck Jonathan are expected to take oath this afternoon.
According to a statement by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF, Senator Anyim Pius Anyim, Abati will be the Special Adviser, Media and Publicity to the President.
Similarly, Mr. Mike Oghiadomhe is returning as the Chief of Staff to the President and Oronto Douglas is also staging a comeback as Special Adviser, Research and Strategy.
Other aides include: Mohammed Kachala Abubakar, the Deputy Chief of Staff to the President; Ambassador Hassan Tukur, Principal Secretary to the President and Senator Joy Emodi, Special Adviser to the President on National Assembly Matters. Also appointed are: Prof. Abubakar Sambo, Energy; Mrs. Sarah Jibril, Ethics and Values; Mrs. Sarah Akuben Pane, Social Development; Dr. Tunji Olagunju, NEPAD; Kingsley Kuku Niger Delta; Dr. Pius Olakunle Osunyikanmi, International Relations; Prof. Dan Adebiyi, Special Duties; Mrs. Asmau Abdulkadir General Issues; Nze Sullivan Akachukwu Nwakpo and others.
