Two hours behind schedule INEC officials not yet at Tinubu’s polling unit

As of 10:00 am, neither the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC)’s officials nor the electoral materials were at the polling unit where the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Asiwaju Bola Tinubu would vote in Lagos.

According to information gathered by our correspondents, this observed lapse is symbolic of the general situation across Lagos.

When contacted, an INEC official who spoke to P.M.NEWS on condition of anonymity blamed the situation on the late arrival of materials in Lagos.

She, however, assured that “officials have been mobilised and activities will commence soon.”
