Rema adds 6 new songs to debut album ‘Raves & Roses’

Nigerian singer, Divine Ikubor, known professionally as Rema, has released six new songs to be added to his debut album ‘Raves & Roses’.

The Dumebi crooner disclosed this on Friday with a tweet.

Along with a link to the album, Rema wrote, “Here it is, the final form of my iconic debut piece “Rave & Roses Ultra” out now”.

This comes after a year after it was released via Jonzing World and Mavin Records. The album includes guest appearances from 6lack, Chris Brown, AJ Tracey, and Yseult.

The album now has 16 tracks – “Divine”, “Hold Me” (with 6lack), “Dirty”, “Calm Down”, “Soundgasm”, “Time n Affection” (with Chris Brown), “Jo”, “Mara”, “Love”, “Addicted”, “Are You There?”, “FYN” (with AJ Tracey), “Oroma Baby”, “Carry”, “Wine” (with Yseult) and “Runaway”.

In an interview, Rema discussed the importance of the album to him saying “breath of fresh air for him as an artist.”

“I tapped into a different mind space for this album, though. Learning through personal experiences, I knew I had been pushed into a different space compared to where I was before.

“As I’m currently at the forefront of a musical generation, I know the album is going to have an impact.”
