Excitement as Oba Sulaimon Odualabe celebrates 20 years on throne of Ajasa Kingdom

The Alajasa of Ajasa kingdom, Oba Sulaimon Suberu Odualabe rolled out the drums on the 20th of May, 2023, to celebrate twenty years on the throne of Ajasa Kingdom.

The ceremony was held at Alade Stadium Field, Command, Lagos state.

The event was attended by friends, family and well-wishers from far and wide who converged to celebrate with the monarch on the ‘journey so far’.

Notable dignitaries present include Deputy Governor of Lagos State, Obafemi Hamzat; Commissioner for Tourism, Pharm Hamzat Akinbile-Yusuff, Onigando of Igando Oba Lasisi Gbadebo Gbadamosi, Ojomu of Ajiran Kingdom, HRM Oba Tijani Adetunji Akinloye, Hon. Bisi Yusuf member of Lagos Assembly, Mr Robert Bolaji the Special Adviser on Local Government & Chieftancy Affairs, Hon. Ganiyu Adele Ayuba member House of Representatives Alimosho Federal constituency, Engr. Oladapo Famuyiwa Chairman Agbado-Oke Odo LCDA.

The guests were entertained by top musicians including popular Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde also known as KWAM 1.

In the midst of the bubbling atmosphere, Oba Sulaimon Suberu Odualabe could not hide his joy as he thanked God for helping him in ruling the Ajasa kingdom.

He appreciated his three queens, children and everyone who made the event a success.

One of the sons, Prince Buhari Sulaimon, (in orange and white checkered cap) also thanked everyone who made the event a success.

The monarch’s sixth son Prince Mudashiru Sulaimon who spoke with PM News said “I give thanks to all those who attended the 20th coronation anniversary celebration. I pray that this will not be our last celebration. It is a joyous occasion to witness this day, although a lot of money, time and sweat went into the planning of the event. Igba Odun, Odun kan.”
