Ayra Starr announces debut headlining tour, Charlotte show

Beninese-born Nigerian Singer Ayra Starr is set to embark on her very first headlining tour, bringing her enchanting blend of Afropop and R&B to the stage.

Taking to her Instagram page, she posted that the tour will kick off with a highly anticipated performance in Charlotte on September 6, leaving fans eager to experience her captivating presence and soulful melodies firsthand.

Ayra Starr rose to prominence after making a transition from the world of modeling to pursue her true passion for music. Her debut self-titled EP, released in January 2021, introduced the world to her unique sound and garnered critical acclaim. Just months later, in August of the same year, she dropped her debut studio album, “19 & Dangerous,” further solidifying her place in the industry as a rising star.

One of the album’s standout tracks, “Rush,” propelled her to new heights of success. With over 100 million views on YouTube, she achieved the remarkable feat of becoming the youngest African female artiste to reach this milestone for a single video.

In addition to her solo achievements, Ayra Starr recently made waves with her contribution to the Creed III soundtrack. The project, executive produced by Dreamville, allowed her to showcase her versatility and collaborate with other notable artists.
