Jigawa governor Namadi makes new appointments

Jigawa state Governor, Malam Umar Namadi, has approved the appointment of the Executive Chairman and permanent members of the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB).

This was contained in a statement signed by the Secretary to the Government of Jigawa State, Malam Bala Ibrahim.

According to the statement, those appointed are: Prof. Haruna Adamu, Executive Chairman; Muhammad Nuhu Babura, Permanent Member I; Kani Idris Gantsa, Permanent Member II; Bala Safiyanu Jahun, Permanent Member III; Bello Ballami Birniwa,Board Secretary.

Moreso, the Governor also approved the appointment of Haruna Mairiga as the new Executive Secretary, Jigawa State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

The statement said the appointment of the appointees is based on merit, competency and personal integrity.

Malam Bala Ibrahim urged all the appointees to work diligently for sound execution of the present administration’s policies and programmes.

The statement explained that all the appointments take immediate effect.
