Saudi club Al Hilal makes $332m bid for Mbappe
Paris Saint-Germain On Monday, confirmed Al Hilal’s bid and gave the Saudi club permission to begin direct negotiations with him.
Al Hilal has launched a world-record bid of £259 million for Kylian Mbappe.
The French champions have put Mbappe up for sale and excluded him from their pre-season tour of Japan and South Korea, stating that they only want to invite players who are dedicated to the club.
PSG has received several offers, including one from Al Hilal. They have been approached with a variety of offers for Mbappe, including cash and players, but Al Hilal have demonstrated their intent by declining a world-record bid.
PSG believes at least five teams are interested in signing Mbappe, including Tottenham.
There is supposed to be a “hot market” for France’s captain, and PSG expects additional developments this week from teams such as Chelsea, Manchester United, Inter Milan, and Barcelona.
PSG will consider any and all offers to sell Mbappe, and if it were up to the French champions, they would simply sell him to the highest bidder; nevertheless, other teams would struggle to match Al Hilal’s price.
The forward has one year left on his contract and refuses to sign a new one, believing he has already decided to join Real Madrid for free next summer.
PSG are adamant about not losing Mbappe, who reportedly cost more than £150 million when he signed from Monaco.
Mbappe, on the other hand, is willing to dig his heels in, sit out next season, and depart for Madrid on a free transfer next summer.
If his contract is not extended, the 24-year-old will not play for PSG again.
