The victorious Mavericks team in the first All Stars arena games has found themselves embroiled in a heated dispute over the distribution of their rewards.

The Mavericks team, comprised Alex, Doyin, Ilebaye, Mercy Eke, Uriel, and Venita.

The team’s triumph in the intense “great debate” challenge had initially united them in celebration, but the euphoria quickly turned into discontent as they grappled with the allocation of their well-deserved rewards.

The challenge required the housemates to form four teams, each comprising only one gender, to engage in a head-to-head debate. Clad in power outfits for the women and dapper suits for the men, all four teams, including the Mavericks, delivered stellar performances and made a lasting impression on the judges and audience.

After an intense battle of intellect and wit, the Mavericks team emerged victorious, earning them ten non-transferrable gold tokens as their grand prize. However, it is the distribution of these tokens that has now sparked the conflict.

Within the Mavericks camp, a rift emerged over the rightful share of tokens for each team member. Venita, one of the key players in the team, suggested that Ilebaye should receive a lesser share due to what she perceived as a lesser contribution. This suggestion didn’t sit well with Ilebaye, who felt her efforts were unfairly undermined.

The dispute quickly escalated, threatening the camaraderie that had initially bonded the team during the grueling competition. The other teammates found themselves caught in the middle, torn between loyalty to their fellow housemates and the desire for a fair resolution.

Recognizing the potential impact of this internal discord on their team’s dynamics, other members of the Mavericks attempted to mediate the situation. With emotions running high, heartfelt pleas were made for Ilebaye to agree to the proposed token distribution plan, in the hopes of restoring harmony among the once-united team.

After much deliberation and soul-searching, Ilebaye reluctantly agreed to the team’s proposal, although it was apparent that the decision weighed heavily on her.
