49th birthday: SDP’s Ajaka hails Yahaya Bello’s Deputy, Edward Onoja

The Kogi State Governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, Alhaji Muritala Yakubu Ajaka, has congratulated Edward David Onoja, (CEDO), the Deputy Governor of Kogi State on the occasion of his 49th birthday.

Ajaka in message signed by Dayo Thomas, his Media Adviser, described Onoja’s birthday as a milestone, saying the celebrant has garnered considerable achievements as an astute politician and leader whose contributions to the development of Kogi State is immense.

“As you mark another year. It is a great privilege to be a year older and waxing strong in the service of the people. I therefore join your well wishers to congratulate you and pray for many happy returns of this special day.

“May God continue to renew your strength per time as I wish you a happy birthday, long life and prosperity,” the SDP gubernatorial candidate said.

Ajaka, who has since launched his campaign ahead of the Kogi State governorship poll, called on all Kogi indigenes at home and the diaspora to join him in celebrating Onoja whose political sagacity he described as rare.

Ajaka prayed that God Almighty grants His Excellency many more multiple years yo continue to render service to his state and country.

Like Ajaka, Onoja is from the Kogi East Senatorial District of the State.

They both contested for the governorship ticket of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC.

But Ajaka defected to SDP after he lost the senatorial ticket to Ahmed Ododo who had the backing of Governor Yahaya Bello as his successor.
