Ten-man West Ham thrashed Chelsea 3-1 in a London derby premier league match on Sunday to leave the Blues without a win in two games.
The homers opened scoring few minutes into the game as Nayef Aguerd got on the scoresheet after converting a chance from the resulting corner kick.
He found himself some space inside the box and planted a perfect header down inside the left post.
Chelsea equalised midway into the first half after Carney Chukwuemeka fired the rebound inside the right post after the ball broke to him in the box.
Chelsea were awarded a penalty few minutes to the end of the first half, but Enzo Fernandez sent the penalty towards the left hand side of the goal, as Alphonse Areola pulled off a wonderful save to deny him.
Few minutes into the second half, West Ham were in front again. Michail Antonio collected a pass and without hesitation fired an unstoppable shot into the bottom left corner.
Midway into the second half, Nayef Aguerd was sent off by the referee after a second yellow card.
Chelsea did not capitalise on their advantage to equalise or perhaps win the match, but they allowed the homers to dictate the pace.
