Wike receives loud applause from Govs, Ministers as he takes oath of office (video)

The 21st of August 2023 will definitely also be a day to remember for former Governor of Rivers State, Nyeson Wike.

The PDP leader was well recognized and honored as he took oath of office to officially commence work as Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja.

As Wike’s name was mentioned; governors, ministers who were at the State House Banquet gave him a loud applause.

The ovation was so loud that even Wike’s political enemies will admire such moment. And it is not a surprise that some PDP leaders have taken to social media to congratulate him despite that everyone is aware ‘Wike’ worked against the interest of his party in the 2023 presidential election.

The event was attended by Vice-President Kashim Shettima, Senate President Godswill Akpabio, and Speaker of the House Representatives, Tajudeen Abass.

Also at the ceremony was Secretary to the Government of the Federation, George Akume and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors Forum and Kwara Governor, Abdulaziz Abdulrahman.

Governor Dapo Abiodun, Yahaya Bello, and many other APC bigwigs were also present.
