Neil Currey was a WBFF Pro Classic physique competitor, fitness model, and fitness coach from the UK. His career had gone from strength to strength. It all started when he began to lift weights at a very young age.
World-renowned body builder, Neil Currey, has died at the age of 34, his former coach Milos Sarcev has disclosed.
According to Sarcev on his Instagram page, Curry’s death is so shocking and heartbreaking.
He wrote: “Absolutely shocking, heartbreaking news – that my former athlete @neil_currey died today My last/best memory of him was this smiling face after he won New York Pro and fulfilled his lifetime dream of qualifying for the Mr. Olympia.
“I am lost for words and filled with pain and sadness. My sincere condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. RIP Neil and God bless your soul. ❤️”

Curry consistently began to train in the gym from a very young age, instantly falling in love with the weight room. Neil was very interested in football at his school, so he set his sights on becoming a football player.
He could push past his naivety in the gym, increasing his knowledge of nutrition and diet. In turn, this allowed him to pack on muscle mass.
In Curry’s first competition, the 2017 World Championships, he finished in 5th place in the pro muscle category. From then on, Neil kept pushing forward, keen to earn further success.
Just a year later, Neil Currey started to compete within the NPC. In 2018, he finished in 1st place in the NPC Worldwide Amateur Olympia Italy competitions – proving his immense capabilities on the bodybuilding stage.
In 2022, after the intense competition, it was Neil Curry who walked away with gold at the 2022 New York Pro in the Men’s Classic Physique category.
