Mohbad’s dad speaks: Naira Marley had no hand in my son’s death

Joseph Aloba, Father of late singer Mohbad has debunked speculations about his son’s death and categorically denied that Naira Marley was present when Mohbad died.

His denial, in an interview conducted by Sight, thrashed rumours that Naira Marley was involved in Mohbad’s death.

When asked about allegations of his son’s involvement in drugs, Aloba revealed that on the day they accused his son of drug use, he personally saw him, making it clear that it was a false accusation.

Since Mohbad’s death, several speculations and accusations have circulated online. These suspicions gained momentum from a viral video showing an altercation between Sam Larry, an aide to Naira Marley, and Mohbad. A

Mohbad’s father had previously voiced his suspicion that his son’s death might be connected to an injection administered by an auxiliary nurse.

On his part, under fire Naira Marley issued an official statement expressing condolences and asserting that there were no hostilities or ill will between him and Mohbad.

He has also called for a thorough investigation of the circumstances leading to Mohbad’s death.
