Grammy-winning artiste Damini Ogulu, also known as Burna Boy, has expressed his willingness to compensate Nigerian blogs in exchange for them refraining from publishing news about him.
The self-proclaimed “African Giant” acknowledged that he had not previously paid any Nigerian blogs.
He called upon Nigerian bloggers to come together and determine a price, which they could then communicate to him so that he could settle them and put an end to any news coverage about him “completely.”
On Friday, Burna Boy posted on his social media, saying, “How far. all these Instablog, PulseNg e.t.c, abeg make all of una do meeting then decide how much I go give all of una make una forget my name totally. I know say I never pay any of una before so I say make I just run am finally. I greet you bros!!”
He stated further, “Make I pay money first. If dem born anybody make dem remember my name after I don sort. Sha All these things na because ORAIMO nor use chord again. #BringbackORAIMOchord.”.
His post received various reactions, with some fans cautioning him that he might fade into obscurity if bloggers ceased to feature news about him.
