No work, no donations for actors – Shan George warns (Video)

Actress Shan George has issued a warning to her fellow colleagues in the movie industry, urging them not to include her in groups solely focused on providing assistance to others.

Expressing her feelings in a video posted on her Instagram page, George accused her colleagues of neglecting her when it comes to job opportunities while frequently involving her in financial contributions for others.

The actress disclosed that she woke up one Thursday morning to discover herself added to 15 WhatsApp groups where money was being collected for the benefit of other colleagues.

In her admonishment, she stressed that nobody seemed to be concerned about her own well-being or financial situation; instead, they swiftly invited her to contribute funds for others.

George lamented, “You have never called me for work before but whenever it’s time to make a contribution, you will form a WhatsApp group and put my name.”

Expressing her frustration in pidgin, she remarked, “You engage in work, you pay others, and you never once think, ‘Let’s call this woman, Shan George, so she can participate in this significant movie or project, or even a minor role, just so I can have a bit of garri to enjoy at home with my children.’ With all due respect to anyone, please refrain from soliciting contributions from me unless you first reach out to offer me work.”
