However, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said the released hostages are now inside Israeli territory.

The Israeli government has released the names of another 13 hostages freed by Hamas from Gaza late Saturday night.

They are Shoshan Haran (67), Adi (38), Nave (8), Yahal (3), Noam (16), Alma (13), Shiri (53), Noga (18), Sharon (52), Noam (12), Hila Rotem Shoshani (12), Emily Hand (9) and Maya Regev (21).

The Isaeli PM’s office published the names of the 13 Israeli hostages released by Hamas from Gaza tonight.

In a statement, it said: “The Israeli government embraces the 17 abductees who returned to Israel, 13 of our citizens and four Thai citizens who returned to Israel today.

“Their families were informed by the appointed officials that they are on their way to Israel. The Israeli government is committed to the return of all abductees and missing persons.”

The BBC reports that the identities of the Thai foreign nationals that have also been released are not yet known.

However, the Israel Defence Forces (IDF) has said the released hostages are now inside Israeli territory.

Israel Defense Forces said the hostages underwent an initial medical assessment after arriving in Israel.

“They are with IDF soldiers and will continue to be accompanied by them as they make their way to Israeli hospitals, where they will be reunited with their families,” the IDF said in a statement.
