Two die in Ogun lone crash

Two persons died in a lone accident involving a Toyota Corolla car at the Ogere area of Sagamu expressway, Ogun state on Sunday afternoon.

The accident that claimed the lives of two out of three persons onboard the vehicle on the spot was said to have been caused by overspeeding by the driver.

The spokesperson for Ogun Traffic Enforcement Agency Compliance (TRACE) Mr Babatunde Akinbiyi confirmed the accident.

According to him, the Toyota Corolla with registration number JJJ 25 was speeding when it crashed and two of the occupants died instantly.

He added that the third person in the car was injured and was taken to a nearby hospital in Ogere for treatment, while the corpses of the deceased were taken to the mortuary.
