Nigerian superstar David ‘Davido’ Adeleke has announced the release date for his collaboration with his colleague Wizkid, which is an extended play (EP).
The Afrobeats star and Grammy nominee, who seems very elated about the new project, revealed that it will be released on December 22.
Davido took to social media to disclose that he would be listening to the project all weekend.

Davido’s tweet was shared at about the same time when Wizkid revealed the title of the body of work.
Although Wizkid did not share more details about the project, it is understood that ‘S2’ is the second installment of ‘Soundman EP,‘ his 2019 EP.

The announcement came a month after Wizkid hinted that he is on a five-year hiatus from music.
It also came a few days after the two music heavyweights were seen hanging out at an event in Lagos.
The hangout was the first time they would be spotted together in public in a very long time.
