Algerian club coach, keeper killed in bus crash

An Algerian top-flight club, El Bayadh , has lost its assistant coach and a goalkeeper in a team bus crash.

Ten other players  were injured in the crash while the team  travelled north to Tizi Ouzou for their weekend fixture against JS Kabylie.

According to the Algerian Football Federation, the bus crashed in Tiaret, about 150 kilometres (90 miles) from the Mediterranean coast.

Meanwhile the federation has called off all matches  scheduled for the weekend.
