Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer known as Mohbad, whose real name was Ileriouluwa Oladimeji Aloba, has shared his emotions on social media as he celebrates his son’s first posthumous birthday.

On his Instagram page, Aloba expressed deep sorrow over celebrating his son’s birthday without him being alive.

He reflected on the tradition of celebrating his son’s birthday annually, lamenting the impossibility of continuing this tradition this year.

His emotional words reflected the weight of his loss: “Today is a very sad day for me, a day I can never forget. I usually celebrate it every year but I can’t anymore this year. (Ilerioluwa Oladimeji Mohbad Oba Imole keep resting son)”.

In another post, Aloba expressed his enduring love for his son but acknowledged that God’s love transcends even his own: “Happy heavenly birthday my son I love you but God loves you more”.
