The Supreme Court has upheld the election of Muhammad Inuwa Yahaya of the APC as the Governor of Gombe State.
Justice Kudirat Kekere-Ekun leading a five-member panel of the apex court dismissed the appeal filed by Jibrin Mohammed Barde, and his party, the Peoples Democratic Party.
Justice Kekere-Ekun, while reading the lead judgment, resolved all the issues raised in the appeal against the appellants.
She said that they could not show that the Election Petitions Tribunal and the Court of Appeal erred.
