Gunmen abduct man in Abuja

A man, Abdullahi Sabo, has been reportedly abducted within the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while he and his wife were on their way home.

The gunmen were said to have  intercepted his ash colour Lexus Jeep with registration number ABC 769 TP vehicle at Sabon- Lugbe, Airport Road , Abuja.

The Nation reports that  he had left the city centre and was heading home when the attackers inside an unmarked Golf car opened fire and deflated the tires of the jeep.

The FCT has witnessed an  incidence of kidnappings recently. The development has led to the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike to hold security meetings address the issue.
