Adekunle Gold, Simi drop acoustic version for ‘Look What You Made Me Do’

Nigerian singer Adekunle Gold and his wife, Simisola Bolatito Kosoko, have put out the acoustic version of their song titled ‘Look What You Made Me Do’.

Gold took to his social media pages on Saturday evening to announce the project.

On her part, Simi reflected on how she eventually agreed to marry Gold after “airing him on Facebook for years”.

“When you finally agree to marry him after airing him on Facebook for years,” she wrote on Instagram.

In the acoustic version, the lovebirds deliver their lyrics and verses without the usual beats but a piano which was played by Simi.

The depth of their chemistry and connection is also portrayed through the intimacy captured in the visuals.

Gold also put out the official visuals for the new track.

The music video was directed by DK, the filmmaker.

‘Look What You Made Me Do’ is one of the songs from Gold’s fifth album ‘Tequila Ever After‘ released in 2023.

Last week, Gold put out the visuals for the main song to mark their 5th wedding anniversary.

The couple got married in January 2019, and are blessed with a daughter, Adejare.
