Nigerian singer Kizz Daniel has committed to flying a fan to the UK after Nigeria secured a spot in the AFCON 2023 final by defeating South Africa.
The fan had initially challenged Kizz Daniel on Twitter, stating that if Nigeria were to win against South Africa, the singer should take him to his next performance at the Ovo Arena in the UK.
Kizz Daniel acknowledged the bet, promising to fulfill it.
He said, “This I promise you …. X is my witness .”
Nigeria eventually emerged victorious over South Africa with a 4-2 penalty shootout win after a 1-1 draw in regular and extra time.
True to his word, Kizz Daniel promptly responded to the fan after the match, instructing them to prepare for their UK trip by arranging their visa.
“Oga where you dey , con go do your visa o UK yah ”, he wrote.
