Court grants man whose wife eloped divorce

An Area Court in Jos on Wednesday granted Luka Istifanus his divorce prayer on the ground that his wife Grace, eloped.

The judge, Shawomi Bokkos, gave custody of the children to the Istafanus.

Earlier, before the divorce was granted, the petitioner, told the court that they got married in 2006.

The father of four said his wife eloped from home.

He said he was at the court to seek the dissolution of the marriage to the respondent and to have custody of his children.
