Indian Congressman Raja Venkatappa Naik dies at 66

Raja Venkatappa Naik, the Congress MLA from Karnataka’s Shorapur constituency in India, has died at the age of 66.

He reportedly died on Sunday due to health reasons.

According to INDIA TODAY, a statement from the Manipal Hospital in Bengaluru said that he died at around 1:50 pm.

There were no other details regarding his death and his family has requested privacy.

Naik has been a member of the Karnataka Legislative Assembly since 2023.
