DJ Cuppy celebrates appointment by British monarchy

Billionaire heiress and Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, popularly known as DJ Cuppy has expressed delight over her recent appointment by British monarch, King Charles III.

DJ Cuppy was appointed as a King’s Trust International Ambassador to King Charles III during a reception at Buckingham Palace on Friday in celebration of The King’s Trust Awards 2024.

Reacting to her appointment, DJ Cuppy said she was honoured and proud of the new role.

Sharing a picture of her and King Charles III via her X handle, she wrote: “Honoured to have been invited for a special reception with his Majesty the King, at Buckingham palace.

“I am so proud to be a @KingsTrustInt Ambassador.”

Cuppy’s father, Femi Otedola also celebrated his daughter on her appointment on social media.

Sharing a picture from his daughter’s meeting with King Charles III via his Instagram page, Otedola lauded DJ Cuppy for “brilliantly” representing Nigeria and congratulated her on her new role as Trust International Ambassador.

He captioned the photo, “Our CuppyMusic is going places! His Majesty King Charles III invited Ms Cuppy to Buckingham Palace, and she represented us brilliantly [Nigeria flag emoji].

“Congratulations on your new role as a King’s Trust International Ambassador.”
