Wale Jana addresses Davido and Sophia Momodu’s parenting drama

Nigerian businessman Wale Jana has weighed in on the contentious co-parenting saga between music star Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.

On her Instagram page, he pointed out that a few years ago, social media users witnessed a cordial relationship between Davido and Sophia.

Davido showered them with vacations, diamonds, gifts, and a Range Rover. However, now he is being labeled as a deadbeat father.

Jana emphasized that while it is acceptable for Sophia to take her daughter on vacation without Davido’s support, it is unfair to portray him as a deadbeat dad.

He stressed that there is no benefit in turning a child against their father.

“When unmarried parents fight, the children suffer. It’s important for parents to use wisdom when they are not on good terms. Some women try to poison their child against their father, and some fathers insult the mother in front of the child. A child should see their parents as role models. When parents constantly speak badly about each other, it affects the child’s mental health.

We all saw on social media when Davido and Sophia were happily spending time with their daughter a few years ago; there were videos of vacations, diamonds, gifts, a Range Rover, and much more. Now, Davido is suddenly being called a deadbeat father.

It’s fine for Sophia to take her daughter on vacation without Davido’s support, but it’s wrong to act as if Davido was never involved in his daughter’s life or has been irresponsible, taking all the credit for herself. There is no reward in turning your child against her father.
