American rapper, Alyssa Michelle Stephens, popularly known as Latto has revealed why she underwent a Brazilian Butt Lift, BBL, surgery at 21.

The ‘Put It On Da Floor Again’ hitmaker disclosed that fans pressured her to do BBL surgery.

Speaking in a recent video message shared via her social media page, Latto recalled that she was trying to adjust to her new reality of being a millionaire back then when she turned 21.

The Atlanta, Georgia-based rapper revealed that fans kept pressuring her to enhance her body.

She said, “When I turned 21, I was just having money and living a new life. I gained a little weight and fans started making negative comments about my body. So I was a little scared about my body. I felt pressured to get a BBL.”

Latto rose to prominence after releasing her 2019 single “Bitch from da Souf,” which received double platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) and marked her first entry on the Billboard Hot 100.

Upon signing with RCA Records, it was issued as the lead single for her debut studio album Queen of da Souf (2020), which performed moderately on the Billboard 200 and spawned the platinum-certified single “Muwop” (featuring Gucci Mane). In 2021, she was named as MTV’s “Global Push Artist of the Month”.

In 2023, she linked with Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido for the remix of “Unavailable”, Davido’s hit song with Musa Keys.

“Unavailable” is one of the songs on Davido’s widely acclaimed album, “Timeless.” The remix of “Unavailable” was produced by Magicsticks and Rage.
