Plan your movement, Iyana-Oworo leading to 3rd Mainland Bridge is flooded

Lagos motorists and commuters are advised to plan their movement as traffic gridlock has taken over the Iyana-Oworo/Olopo Meji area heading towards the 3rd Mainland Bridge due to heavy flooding.

Lagos has for about a few days now experienced heavy rains which have led to flooding in many parts of the state.

Motorists are currently trapped on that axis of the 3rd Mainland Bridge with no sign of respite in sight.

Lagos is a low-lying coastal city which is just one meter above sea level. It has 40% of its territory covered by water bodies and wetlands.
