“Why I spoke about Davido not greeting me at an event” – Kate Henshaw

Nollywood actress Kate Henshaw has clarified why she mentioned Davido not greeting her at a past event, stating that she was merely answering a question.

During her appearance on Isbae U’s show, Curiosity Made Me Ask, she was questioned, “Why did you go to an interview to report Davido because he didn’t greet you?”

Taken aback by the question, Henshaw stated that she did not report the singer to anyone.

She responded, “I was asked a question, and I answered it. I didn’t report anybody; I just responded to the question. What does ‘report’ even mean?”

She continued, “They asked about the person, and I spoke about my knowledge and interaction with him. I didn’t report, and we even had a conversation afterward, so it’s really none of your business. You people are always looking for conflict.”

Following her statement, Isbae U humorously brought in a Davido lookalike to kneel and apologize on behalf of the singer.

This incident follows Henshaw’s revelation in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo in December 2023 that she was not a fan of Davido.

She recounted an occasion where she met the singer, but he did not acknowledge her.

When asked about Davido, Henshaw said, “Well, I’m not a fan. I like his music, but personally, I don’t know him. I’ve met him; he didn’t greet me. I’m sorry. No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. He didn’t greet, and for me, I believe he should be respectful. For me, personality matters.”
