The Martin-Amaewhule led faction of the Rivers State House of Assembly has given Governor Siminalayi Fubara seven days to re-present the 2024 Appropriation Bill.
The faction which consists of 25 lawmakers loyal to the former Governor of Rivers State and current Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesome Wike, made the call at its sitting on Monday.
The faction resumed sitting on Monday, following the Court of Appeal judgement which set aside an order of the High Court of Rivers State stopping its members from parading themselves as lawmakers.
The three-man faction led by Victor Oko Jumbo, loyal to Fubara, had however, vowed to appeal at the Supreme Court the judgement of the appellate court.
