The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), has appointed Corps Commander Alphonses Godwin, as the new Zonal Commander for Osun, Oyo and Ondo States.
Mrs Adeboye Adebanke, the FRSC Zonal Public Enlightenment Officer, disclosed this is a statement on Thursday in Osogbo.
Adebanke said that Godwin who was enlisted into the corps in 1996, was well-experienced in the corps’ operational activities.
She said that new zonal commander had worked as a sector commander in Delta, Jigawa, and Plateau States.
“He last served as the Corps Commander, Road Marshal Assistant at the FRSC Headquarters in Abuja, before the latest posting,” she said.
The enlightenment officer further said that Godwin was a graduate of International Studies from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, and a fellow of the Institute of Safety Professionals of Nigeria, among other professional bodies.(NAN)
