“It’s not making sense”: Alesh Sanni cries out over Nigeria’s import fees

Nollywood actor Alesh Sanni has expressed his frustration about the country’s economic situation.

In an Instagram post, he revealed the stark contrast in costs between the United States and Nigeria, noting that a car costing $12,000 in the U.S. requires N10 million to clear in Nigeria.

He expressed shock why such discrepancies exist and what Nigerians are paying for.

Sanni’s post revealed a deep sense of disillusionment, suggesting that the government’s actions have become so unreasonable that it might as well use a knife to “kill us” (a dramatic expression of his frustration).
