Tinubu leaves for France in recovered jet

President Bola Tinubu on Monday departed for France in one of the jets earlier seized by a French court in favour of a Chinese firm, Zhongshan Fucheng Industrial Investment Co. Limited.

Zhonghan released the Airbus A330  business jet being of the three seized in presidential aircraft fleet.

The Chinese firm had said it released the jet as gesture of goodwill as it knew it would be needed for diplomatic purposes.

The released plane was said to have touched down at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja on Sunday.

Tinubu’s Special Adviser, Media & Publicity, Ajuri Ngelale, had in a statement on Sunday night said the President would be traveling to France on a work visit.
