GIF3RD set to perform at Splashy Fen Music Festival

South African-based Nigerian artiste Ajimisan Gift Ebunoluwa, known professionally as “GIF3RD,” has officially announced his upcoming performance at the highly anticipated Splashy Fen Music Festival, taking place from September 23 to 26 this year.

Splashy Fen Music Festival is one of South Africa’s most iconic annual events, hosted at the stunning world heritage site of the Drakensberg. Since its inception in 1990, Splashy Fen has become the country’s longest-running music festival, drawing thousands of attendees to the scenic farm near Underberg, KwaZulu-Natal.

The festival is celebrated for its unique outdoor music experience, featuring multiple stages, family-friendly activities, camping, arts and crafts stalls, food and drink vendors, and a range of accommodation options. With special discounted rates for children, Splashy Fen is an event that welcomes all ages.

After a hiatus following its last edition in April 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the festival made a successful return in 2021 and 2022, much to the delight of its loyal attendees.

GIF3RD, who released his debut EP in June, expressed his excitement about being selected as one of the supporting acts for this year’s festival. “Splashy Fen is one of the festivals that made a comeback after the pandemic, and I’m thrilled to be part of this year’s lineup,” he said.
