Lagos State Governor, Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has witnessed the historic signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Lagos State Ministry of Agriculture and Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings Co. Ltd. on Wednesday.
The agreement, aimed at enhancing the rice value chain within Lagos, was formalized in China.
The MoU signing event was attended by key dignitaries including the Minister of Power, Mr. Adebayo Adelabu; Minister of Budget and Economic Planning, Senator Atiku Bagudu; and Group Head of Rice at Wilmar Group, Mr. Prashant Trikha.
The Lagos State delegation also included Special Adviser to the Governor on Agriculture (Rice Mill Initiative), Dr. Oluwarotimi Fashola, and the Permanent Secretary of the Lagos State Ministry of Innovation, Science & Technology, Engr. (Mrs) Ibiliola Kasumu, among others.



The partnership with Yihai Kerry Arawana Holdings Co. Ltd., a leading global player in the rice industry, is expected to drive significant progress in Lagos’s agricultural sector, creating new opportunities for local farmers and businesses.
