In a recent Instagram Live session, Paul Okoye, one-half of the renowned music duo Psquare, has officially declared the end of the group.

During the live broadcast, Paul shared thoughts about his fractured relationship with his twin brother, Peter Okoye, and expressed his desire to pursue a solo career.

Paul criticized his past working relationship with Peter, alleging that he was the primary performer while Peter benefited disproportionately.

“The new me ehn. Those days bamboo dey work, monkey don chop, I no dey do am again. I rather work for myself only. Only me dey sing all the songs,” Paul said.

This announcement has not been well received by many fans and observers, who took to social media to voice their disapproval.

Comments flooded in, criticizing Paul for his perceived discrediting of his brother.

One user, Ecom Safari, wrote, “Always discrediting his brother online. How can you say you’re the only one singing and doing everything?”

Cherish Ezem added, “This guy thou, na wa o. Your own flesh and blood from the same woman. You need help.”

Martin Bricks commented, “This guy is the problem. How will you be angry that you are doing something that your twin brother is benefiting from?”

Toby Toba expressed hope for reconciliation, stating, “God go help una settle an we don try.”

Pitakwa1 questioned the future of Paul’s solo career, saying, “As u dey sing only you now, how far e dey go?”

I Am Donebulux dismissed Paul’s solo efforts, commenting, “Which song you dey even sing? Abeg, make una go sleep for shit.”
