“That is what I am, I am a warrior, and also before I finish, we have to give credit to our opponent, Daniel.”

British pugilist Anthony Joshua has ruled out retirement after his shocking defeat by Daniel Dubois on Saturday.

Joshua insisted he has no plans to retire from boxing after he was knocked out in the fifth round by Dubois at Wembley on Saturday night.

Dubois, who dominated the fight, floored Joshua in all but one of the five rounds before ending the contest with a crashing counter right hand.

It was Joshua’s fourth defeat of his professional career.

When asked if he will fight again next year, Joshua said at his post-fight press conference: “You are probably asking if I still want to continue fighting – of course, I want to continue fighting.

“That is what I am, I am a warrior, and also before I finish, we have to give credit to our opponent, Daniel.”
