Kidnapped Port Harcourt Female Lawyer Freed
Miss Cleverline Brown,the kidnapped Legal Officer of the Rivers State Transport Management Authority, TIMARIV, has been  rescued.

She was rescued early today, at the Waterfront in Port Harcourt, Â according to a statement made available to PMNWEWS, by Mr Ben Ugwuegbulem,the Rivers State Police Public Relations Officer ,PPRO.
Miss Brown was rescued at Ngbudaya, Rumuolumeni Waterfront, Port Harcourt.
Ugwuwuegbulem said the rescue was made possible from the arrest of the driver of the getaway Jetta car, one Prince Nyenwoke, around the scene and recovery of a berret , a Reflective Jacket and a Motorola GP 340 of TIMARIV from him on the day of the kidnap.â€
The PPRO further attributed her release to the “investigations by Police and 2 Brigade Anti Kidnapping Units which on October 1,2011, at about 10.30 pm led to the arrest of two notorious members of the gang namely Ozuruonye (male) and Godspower (male).”
Miss Brown was kidnapped at about 10 p.m September 26, by an armed gang of four hoodlums operating in a red Volkswagen Jetta Car while she was driving into her house at Peace Drive, off Iwofe Road, Port Harcourt. A ransom of $1 million was demanded by her abductors.
Police said they would intensive efforts to  apprehend the remaining masterminds of the abduction.
