President Bola Tinubu warmly congratulated Donald Trump on his re-election as the 47th President of the United States of America.

President Tinubu expressed optimism about deepening the bond between Nigeria and the United States as both nations navigate contemporary global challenges and opportunities.

“Together, we can foster economic cooperation, promote peace, and address global issues that impact our citizens,” President Tinubu stated.

He noted that President Trump’s victory reflects the trust and confidence of the American people in his leadership and commended their dedication to democratic values.

Highlighting Trump’s prior experience as the 45th U.S. president, Tinubu voiced confidence that his return to the White House would herald a renewed era of mutual economic and developmental partnerships between Africa and the United States.
