Fashion designer Veekee James has shared her experience of meeting her abusive ex-boyfriend while she was on an evangelism outreach to bring souls to Christ.

During an online interview with Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters Church, Veekee opened up about how her ex initially appeared supportive of her faith but later began influencing her away from her beliefs.

James explained that in the beginning, her ex-boyfriend played along with her religious lifestyle, attending church and supporting her evangelism efforts.

However, she soon noticed a shift in his behaviour, as he introduced her to a different lifestyle, encouraging her to go clubbing and skip church.

Eventually, he became controlling and abusive, leading her into a phase of life she described as completely misaligned with her values.

One commenter, @jgoldspropertiesnigeria, noted humorously, “Poor Femi holding the camera for her and recording .”

Another, @veevogee, offered a different perspective, writing, “Not all information is meant for public consumption. You’re married; this shouldn’t be a topic of discussion.”

User @taaatibg advised, “Let a man love you and play his role. Never settle for a man who you have more love for. Know this and have peace ✌️.”

Another commenter, @consigliere_code10, voiced skepticism about the interview format, stating, “This pastor sef don de do like DaddyFreeze. Is kingdom your calling or you de eye skit making? Hustlers just full that country sha.”
