Wike suspends FCDA Executive Secretary from office

The Minister of Federal Capital Territory, FCT,  Mr Nyesom Wike has suspended Mr Shehu Ahmed, the Executive Secretary of  Federal Capital Development Authority (FCDA) from office.

Mr Lere Olayinka, Senior Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media to Wike, announced the suspension in a statement in Abuja on Thursday.

Olayinka did not provide reasons for the suspension in the statement.

However, he said the suspension was with immediate effect.

He added that Ahmed had been directed to hand over to the FCDA Director of Engineering Services. (NAN)
